If I see someone female that looks like they’re a nice person, say from a bus window, I think yeah, they could be the one. Maybe if I talked to them it would go amazingly well and we’d get married and have children and finally life would go well and we’d get a pet iguana and name it Peppy because once we left it on the kitchen table and it knocked over the pepper and we thought it would be a cute and anecdotal name and we’d keep the iguana and grow old together and Peppy would outlive us both because I don’t have inherent knowledge of the lifespan of iguanas.
Then the bus drives off and I think well, fuck. There goes the one.
And then I see another one.
